Staff Recognition

  • Above and Beyond: Students at any time can nominate teachers who do more than what's expected of them regularly. 
  • Faculty Grams: Faculty Grams are available from 3/8 to 3/12. Students can fill out "thank you" notes for teachers to let our teachers know that they are appreciated. They are free and available in both quads throughout the week.
  • Staff Appreciation Week: May 5 – May 9
    • Monday: Donuts and Orange juice for the PUSD Bus drivers
    • Tuesday: Smoothie King Smoothies for all staffulty members
    • Wednesday: All American Breakfast with crepes, coffee and juice
    • Thursday: Ice Cream Sundaes
    • Friday: Surprises

Student Recognition
  • AAA: The Academics, Attitude, and Achievement (Triple A) program is for students who achieve a grade point average of 3.0 or above. A Triple A sticker on their I.D card entitles them to discounted prices for ASB functions such as dances and Airbands. They also receive special perks.
  • Athletes/Performer of the Month : Our recognition team works in accordance with our Athletics commissioners in honoring the Athletes and Performers of the Month. A special lunch is held for these students and their coaches, and their pictures are showcased on the bulletin board.
  • Student Birthdays: Our Special Recognition commissioners send out an RBHS gift pack for every student's birthday to the person's first period teacher.
  • Random Acts of Kindness: Anyone can nominate someone for the RAOK award. Fill out a slip in the office and turn it in, and that person will be recognized.
Ceremonies / Assemblies
  • Students of Character: Each month, teachers by subject nominate students who demonstrate the 6 pillars of character- respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, fairness, citizenship, and caring.  Those students are honored at a luncheon with the teachers who nominated them.
  • Silver Stars Awards honors every student who achieves a 4.0 GPA or higher. Seniors will have a special ceremony (with dessert) on April 29th in the gym pavillion. Seniors who have received the Silver Stars award for seven semesters will be given a special medal. Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors who have achieved a 4.0 GPA or higher will have short ceremonies during lunch on the three days prior: Freshman (Monday); Sophomores (Tuesday); (Juniors (Wednesday).
  • PRIDE Luncheon will be held on May 20th. Students who have improved greatly in the areas of academics, attitude, or achievement are nominated by their teachers and honored with their parents.
  • The Celebrate Assembly will be held on May 30, 2007 in the Gym. Students with academic achievements will be recognized.
